Yes — tempo talks to your phone over Bluetooth, so keep the phone within range, usually in the same or next room. The app keeps monitoring in the background, even with the screen off.

Yes. With Remote Monitoring, the phone beside tempo passes readings on to a second phone that you pair by scanning a QR code — so you can keep an eye on things from elsewhere in the house, or further away. Readings are encrypted on the phone before they're sent.

You choose a temperature threshold for each person. If a reading goes above it, the app shows an alert on screen and sends a notification. The app also lets you know if the connection to tempo is lost.

Alerts depend on your phone being on, charged, within range and allowed to show notifications, so tempo supports — but doesn't replace — your own checks.

Yes. Add a profile for each person — each one keeps its own threshold and its own history.

Yes. The app keeps a history of readings, shown as an easy-to-read chart, and you can export it as a file — for example, to share with a doctor.

The app is available in English, 简体中文, Tiếng Việt, Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Indonesia, and shows temperature in °C or °F.

No account is needed. Readings are stored on your own phone. If you use Remote Monitoring, readings are encrypted on your phone before they're sent, using an anonymous ID — no name, email or phone number. We don't sell your data or show ads. Read the full tempo privacy policy.
